Ice Cream or Yogurt Smoothies
by Donna Rivera-Loudon

This is a nice treat on a hot day. You can use milk or juice, but I think the milk tastes much better. It is cool and refreshing and your family will love it.

In this recipe I mention the Quick Chef. This is what I use. It is a Tupperware product and I prefer it to a food processor or blender because it is much more portable and easier to clean. However, if you don't have a Quick Chef and aren't interested in buying one, try the recipe in your food processor or blender.

If you don't have Tupperware's Cinnamon-Vanilla spice, I recommend you try using 1/4 tsp of cinnamon and a 1/4 tsp vanilla. It's not quite the same, but will work.

Ice Cream or Frozen Yogurt Smoothie

2 to 3 scoops of ice cream or frozen yogurt, softened

Fresh or canned fruit of your choice

1/4 tsp cinnamon-vanilla spice

1 cup milk or juice

Combine all ingredients into the Quick Chef mixer. Mix until well blended. Add more milk or juice if you prefer a shake rather than a smoothie. Pour into your favorite tumblers and enjoy.
